A Dubey & Schaldenbrand foi fundada em 1946 pelos inventores do \u2018cron\u00f3grafo de um segundo\u2019, Georges Dubey e Ren\u00e9 Schaldenbrand. A sua sede est\u00e1 localizada em La Chaux-de-Fonds, na Su\u00ed\u00e7a.<\/p>

Patenteada em v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses, a revolucion\u00e1ria ideia do cron\u00f3grafo de segundo a segundo foi a sua primeira cria\u00e7\u00e3o em 1946. O Sr. Dubey fez algumas modifica\u00e7\u00f5es no movimento base do \u2018Landeron\u2019 para disponibilizar no mercado um cron\u00f3grafo de segundo a segundo acess\u00edvel. Parte da complexidade estava escondida sob o mostrador, mas o ponteiro de segundo a segundo n\u00e3o tinha pot\u00eancia suficiente para suport\u00e1-la. A adi\u00e7\u00e3o de uma \u00fatil espiral entre as duas m\u00e3os do cron\u00f3grafo proporcionou a pot\u00eancia necess\u00e1ria.<\/p>

Inspirada no Art-Deco, a marca foi constru\u00edda com ideias vanguardistas que trouxeram evolu\u00e7\u00e3o para a ind\u00fastria relojoeira com movimentos mec\u00e2nicos especiais. A Dubey & Schaldenbrand continua e prospera com a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o e o design (principalmente com a sua forma tradicional de tonneau), respeitando as habilidades relojoeiras tradicionais de nossos antepassados.
